Use with Visual Studio Post-Build Event

There is a known problem on using 'psexec' with the Post-Build Event in Visual Studio 2005/2008 (it freeze). But maybe someone has an idea for a workaround. I think maybe with this remote Gacutil?! Also if this tool uses 'psexec'.

For developers it would be nice if this remote gacutil come's with a dos-mode for the Post-Build event.

thx 4 any idea and for the good work on this tool

At 2008, I've used the post-build event to copy the assemblies to the remote computer (in a shared folder). On the remote computer I've written a little Filewatcherservice, which watches the shared folder and puts (if something has changed) the assemblies into the local GAC (This works with the standard gacutil).

I know it's an evil workaround - but I just needed it for development deployment...

But maybe (since those 3 years) something has changed and it is no problem today - try it
